ABOUT
ABOUT VISIT Takeno

Takeno-cho is located in the San’in Kaigan National Park, and we will develop original private tours to fully enjoy the rich nature and culture of the national park.
The Nekozaki Peninsula is the only point on the Japan Sea side where one can watch the sunrise and sunset. In addition, there is a “birth myth” handed down in this area where the gods are said to have once stayed, and while learning the story of its historical background through a trekking guide, you will experience the same spectacular sunrise and sunset views that the gods once saw here.
The unique topography of this national park allows visitors to learn about the history of the earth through the geological strata and landforms, including geographic tours, the crystal clear sea called “Takeno Blue,” and the Yodo Cave, also known as the “Blue Cave” of the Sea of Japan. The Yodo Cave, the “blue cave” of the Sea of Japan, and the elegant streets of burnt cedar planks that live together with the sea.
We offer private tours of the national parks, mainly original trekking tours that can only be experienced here and that will “enrich your mind” and “deepen your education,” as well as cultural exchanges and experiences tailored to the needs of our guests and coordinated by our excellent through guides.
